Automate daily standups

Run the daily standup without chasing anyone.

You ask

Collect each person's update in Slack and post a clean standup summary to #team every morning.

What the worker does

  1. 1

Run on a weekday schedule every morning at 9am—no reminder needed.

  2. 2

Collect yesterday's work, today's plan, and any blockers from each teammate in Slack.

  3. 3

Compile one tidy, scannable summary with each person's contribution.

  4. 4

Queue the digest for your approval before posting to the team channel.

Result: Gathered 6 updates, posted the standup digest to #team at 9am.

Hand off slack standup automation

Delegate it once and a worker handles it from here — you keep approval.

Questions

How does it collect updates from the team?
It reads Slack messages or threads from each team member—yesterday's work, today's plan, blockers—and groups them by person. Nothing posts to the channel until you approve.
Can it skip weekends and holidays?
Yes. You set the schedule (e.g. 9am on weekdays only), and you can pause it anytime from the worker's settings. Holidays can be excluded by calendar.
Will it post the standup without asking?
No. The worker compiles the digest and queues it. You review the summary and approve before it posts to the channel.
